Go Green initiative by RANITEC CETP

  • Generation of Power from the 4 MW Solar Power Plant:

The 4 MW Solar Power Generation Plant installed at Vediyangadu Village has produced 60 lakh units of power during the year as against the CETP’s consumption of 94.17 lakh units of electricity and that the same has adjusted its solar power generation, thus resulted in saving 63 % of Energy Cost equivalent to Rs. 3.60 Cr and to that extent reduced the Carbon footprint and also treat the effluent by using Green energy.

  • Solar Steam Generation:

The 1 Ton/hr capacity Solar Steam Generation System was commissioned during the month of Jan-2023 to reduce the fuel consumption in the boiler by increasing the Boiler feed water temperature from 35℃ to 100℃ during day time. This system has produced 1200 Tons of steam during the year which has reduced the usage of 225 tons of firewood fed to the boiler. This System was validated by Mr. Rene von Berkel, Country Head of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) on 1st June 2023, as a part of their drive towards Energy Efficiency & Green Technology.
